John ‘Skip’ Summerville  President Regency, Inc. is a virtual manufacturer that provides office furniture to independent office furniture companies and large mass merchants. Skip consults regularly with merchandisers from a variety of channels to help create low-cost products solutions to mature market channels. Skip oversees the home office in Akron with buying and quality control offices in Guangzhou China, and Kaohsiung Taiwan. Regency has distribution centers in Akron, Ohio; Tampa, Florida; Denver, Colorado; and Chicago, Illinois.

Prior to his current position, he managed the largest independent office products and office interiors design firm in Summit, Stark, Medina and Portage counties

Skip is a past Director of NOPA (National Office Products Association), founder, owner and Director of Workspace and billon dollars national consortium of Office furniture distributors. Founder and director of NPA buying group. Owner, Director and Chairman of IS. Group 3 billion dollar national office products buying cooperative patterned after the Ace Hardware cooperative.

Raised in Bath, Ohio Since 2005 Skip lives with his, mother-in-law and wife in Green, Ohio, where his three grandchildren are always welcome.

Skip Graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration-Finance from The University of Akron.
